What is Seepi? Seepi is a children's lifestyle brand of handcrafted apparels and accessories created using traditional textiles and prints. With our initiative, we are trying to reveal the wonders of traditional handlooms and handicrafts into your child's imagination.

Why are we doing this? Did you know that the Handloom and Handicrafts Sector is one of the largest unorganized economic activities after agriculture? It constitutes an essential part of the rural and semi-rural livelihood and is one of the richest and most vibrant aspects of our cultural heritage. The level of artistry and intricacy achieved in handloom fabrics is unparalleled, and certain weaves/designs are still beyond the scope of modern machines. Despite this, the Handloom and Handicrafts industry is facing a grave crisis. The number of handloom weavers, artisans and craftspersons are declining sharply, and the younger generation is not willing to adopt the same profession due to lower wages. This sector needs our patronage more than ever, and if we do not take the steps to preserve these techniques many of them will vanish completely. 

What do we wish to achieve? Through our endeavor, we wish to reach as many weavers, artisans, and craftspersons as we can. We wish to create a community of artisans and conscious consumers because we believe that even the smallest of contributions can make an impact on someone's life.
